Our Death & Grief Cafes offer a safe, confidential, and welcoming space where people—often strangers—come together to talk openly about death, dying, and grief.
There is no agenda or objectives; the conversation is simply led by the people in the group. We sit in small groups so it’s easy to participate. It is a place to talk and share or just listen.
At a Death Cafe, the focus is on exploring feelings, questions, and reflections about death and mortality. The aim is to increase awareness of death, encouraging us to live our finite lives to the fullest.
At our Grief Cafes, the conversation focuses on the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of grief, providing a space for connection and support.
Winter Get Together: Good Grief Community Meet-up
Come join us for our Winter Get Together, open to everyone who has attended our Good Grief or Death Cafes, as well as newcomers curious to learn more.
This will be an informal, welcoming drop-in event—a chance to meet new people or reconnect with familiar faces – and an opportunity to connect with others around grief. Whether you’ve joined us before or are simply looking to see what we’re about, you’re warmly invited!
