We are a Community Interest Company that creates spaces for conversations about death, dying and grief.

As a society, we’re not great at talking about death or grief. Awkwardness, embarrassment and fear of saying the wrong thing means we tend to shy away from talking openly and connecting with those who are dying or grieving. When we don’t, or can’t, talk about what matters it can increase feelings of isolation, loneliness and anxiety and important planning can get overlooked.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

At Creating Conversations our mission is to transform how we talk about death, dying, and grief and create compassionate communities where these important conversations can happen.

Through our events and workshops, we:

  • Offer safe spaces to talk openly about death, dying, and grief without judgment.
  • Equip people with the tools to start meaningful conversations.
  • Raise awareness of the importance of planning for the end of life and how to do this.
  • Help individuals and communities understand grief and how to support others who are grieving.

By normalising these conversations, we’re reducing the fear and isolation surrounding death and grief. Our spaces provide connection, understanding, and practical tools to face death and grief with confidence and support.

You can find out about our upcoming events on our Events page and on Instagram and facebook.
