Some conversations matter too much to avoid.
Join us for an evening of conversation and guidance on why we need to talk about death and dying, and how to plan for the end of life.
We’ll create a supportive space to explore how open conversations and planning can bring clarity, reassurance and peace of mind for ourselves and those we care for.
The session will include short discussions, brief presentations, and practical input from two sets of speakers:
- Dr Gemma Constable, GP and End of Life Lead for Waltham Forest & Theresa Mann, Nurse Consultant Palliative Care – Practical ways to plan ahead for changes in health, including documenting and sharing wishes relating to future care
- Allistair Anderson, Compassionate Funerals in Wanstead – Planning a Funeral
Who is this evening for:
Anyone who wants to feel more confident talking about and planning for the end of life.
You might find it especially helpful if you are:
- Thinking about your own future and end of life care
- Supporting, or beginning to support, a partner, parent, friend or relative
- Someone working in a health & social care setting
- Wanting to have more open and honest conversations about death and dying
The session will be interactive, but there is no pressure to participate. You’re welcome to listen, share, or simply reflect — whatever feels right for you.
Do come and join us.
