Demystifying Death Cafe – Glasgow

Join Alberta at The Whiteinch Centre to talk openly about death and dying in a safe and confidential space.

There will be an introduction to explain how the event will work, an opportunity to talk and share, and the sharing of information resources covering topics including: planning for the end of life, how to start conversations about death and dying and how to support someone who has been bereaved.

This free event, funded by Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief, will include free refreshments.

Understanding Grief Talk (LBWF)

This talk is open to Waltham Forest residents aged over 18 and adult users of Waltham Forest Health and Care services and will be given in collaboration with Waltham Forest Mental Health and Wellness Team (NELFT NHS Foundation Trust).

We will provide information about grief and the grieving process to dispel some of the common myths and misconceptions that surround grief. We will also discuss the various ways that grief can affect us and explore coping strategies to look after ourselves and to support others.

Understanding Grief Talk (LBWF)
