Our Grief Cafe is an informal, supportive spaces where people come together to share their experiences of grief and connect with others who understand.
We sit in small groups, making it easy to talk — or simply to listen. Each group has a ‘table host’ who helps ensure everyone can take part in the way that feels right for them.
Whatever your grief, and whether the person died recently, some time ago, or the death is anticipated, you are very welcome to join us.
Everyone is welcome. We aim to create a space where people of all sexualities, genders, cultures, and backgrounds feel safe and respected.
Why we’re asking for a donation
Our funding for these Grief Cafés has ended, but we know how much they mean to the people who come, so we’re continuing to run them voluntarily.
To help us keep them going, we’re asking everyone to donate when booking. We suggest £5, but you’re welcome to give more or less, using the “choose your own amount” option.
Everyone is welcome, whatever their circumstances. If a donation isn’t possible right now, please email: debbie@creatingconversations.uk and we’ll arrange a place for you. No explanation needed.
