Creating Conversations Summer Picnic

Come and join us for our first ever summer picnic!
The picnic is open to anyone who has attended any of our Grief Support activities (i.e. our Good Grief Cafes and Understanding Grief talks) or one of our Death Cafes.
It will be a informal and casual event – an opportunity to continue some of the conversations started at previous cafes and talks or simply a chance to chat and meet new people.
Understanding Grief Talk (LBWF)

This talk is open to Waltham Forest residents aged over 18 and adult users of Waltham Forest Health and Care services and will be given in collaboration with Waltham Forest Mental Health and Wellness Team (NELFT NHS Foundation Trust).
We will provide information about grief and the grieving process to dispel some of the common myths and misconceptions that surround grief. We will also discuss the various ways that grief can affect us and explore coping strategies to look after ourselves and to support others.
