DESCRIPTION:This is a space for anyone carrying the loss of someone to serious youth violence. \nThis session is facilitated by Creating Conversations and the Vanguard/NHS violence reduction service. It is not a clinical or mental health service — it is a space held by the community\, for the community\, to come together and be heard. \nOpen to: loved ones\, friends\, family members\, youth workers\, and anyone in the wider community who has been touched by this kind of loss. All are welcome. \nWhat to expect: \n\nA short 20-minute talk from the Waltham Forest Vanguard Violence Reduction service\nA safe\, non-judgmental space\, at your own pace\nNo pressure to speak – come to share\, or simply to listen in solidarity\nSpace to explore what grief in these circumstances can look like\, alongside others who understand\nFacilitators experienced in supporting people through grief and trauma\nSharing more information on local support options\n\nPlaces are limited — please reserve your spot in advance. \nYou don’t have to carry this alone. \nThis event has been made possible thanks to funding from MuchLoved.
