SUMMARY:Grief Cafe in Walthamstow
DESCRIPTION:Our Grief Cafes are informal\, supportive spaces where people come together to share their experiences of grief and connect with others who understand. \nWe sit in small groups\, making it easy to talk — or simply to listen. Each group has a ‘table host’ who helps ensure everyone can take part in the way that feels right for them. \nWhatever your grief\, and whether the person died recently\, some time ago\, or the death is anticipated\, you are very welcome to join us. \nOur Grief Cafes are free to attend. \nEveryone is welcome. We aim to create a space where people of all sexualities\, genders\, cultures\, and backgrounds feel safe and respected. \nBooking information: Places are limited so booking is required. If you book a place and find you’re no longer able to come\, then please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your space to someone else.

SUMMARY:Grief\, Guilt and Anger
DESCRIPTION:Guilt and anger are normal emotional responses when experiencing grief\, however that does not make them easy emotions to feel\, and they may look different for everyone. \nGrief\, Guilt and Anger will look at how and why these feelings might manifest\, and interconnect. Together\, we will explore practical and compassionate ways of coping when these feelings become too overwhelming\, and you will also be invited to share your own experiences in a supportive environment. \nAlthough the event will be interactive\, there will be no pressure to participate. You’re welcome to listen\, share\, or simply reflect — whatever feels right for you. \nThe session will be led by Amber Turner-Flanders and Ellie Golinski\, Clinical Associate Psychologists from Waltham Forest Mental Health & Wellbeing Team\, and has been made possible thanks to funding from MuchLoved. \nMuchLoved is the UK’s leading in-memory platform\, helping people remember someone special and fundraise in their memory. \nDo come and join us.
